Installation & Siting Guidance
Where to Mount: Install on the ceiling near the center of the room, inside sleeping areas, and along primary hallway escape routes.
Clearance: Keep at least 30 cm away from walls, light fixtures, and corners to avoid dead-air pockets.
Avoid: Do not mount directly inside kitchens or bathrooms where cooking grease and steam cause false alarms.
Maintenance & Testing Guidelines
Monthly Test: Press and hold the central "Test" button for 3 seconds once a month until the 85 dB siren sounds to confirm battery and horn function.
Dust Maintenance: Gently vacuum the exterior sensing vents with a soft brush attachment every 6 months to prevent household dust accumulation.
