When it comes to lithium battery fires, standard fire extinguishers are ineffective and dangerous, potentially escalating the fire and endangering the operator. Our Lithium fire extinguisher is specifically engineered to combat these unique fires. It has been rigorously tested to EN3 standards, making it the reliable choice for lithium battery fire emergencies.

Important Safety Information
Always prioritize your safety. Before attempting to fight any fire, ensure you have a clear escape route. Firefighting is inherently risky; if in doubt, always choose to escape.

When using the lithium fire extinguisher, continuously and completely discharge the extinguisher. Due to the nature of lithium battery fires, it can take 2-3 minutes to fully extinguish the flames. Even if the visible fire is out, continue discharging until the extinguisher is empty to prevent reignition.

SCDF Regulations and Testing
In Singapore, SCDF regulations prohibit gas or electric icons on fire extinguishers. SCDF recommends switching off the energy source before attempting to fight a fire.

While there are no specific EN test standards for battery fires, this lithium extinguisher has been tested for Class A fires. Each 2 litre extinguisher is suitable for fires up to 250 Wh.

Additionally, these extinguishers have undergone dielectric testing, confirming their safety for use on electrical fires at a minimum distance of 1 meter for up to 1000 volts.
