Singapore Fire Code Installation Regulations
In strict accordance with the Singapore Fire Code, specific compliance layout rules must be observed during installation:
Siting Rules: Fire hose reels must be sited within 5 meters from an exit door, but they are strictly prohibited from being installed inside fire staircase enclosures.
Enclosure Boundaries: If a fire hose reel is installed inside a specific room, its 36m coverage radius cannot be counted toward protecting areas outside of that room.
